  • Dr. Sebastian Renger, "Begabungsausschöpfung - Persönlichkeitsentwicklung durch Begabungsförderung".
    Renger Dr. Sebastian Renger successfully completed his PhD thesis in 2009. He is the managing director and head of research at DZBF, the Deutsche Zentrum für Begabungsforschung (German Centre for Giftedness) in Hanover www.dzbf.de/index.html
    Diploma thesis at the University of Osnabrück, "Verbesserung der Selbststeuerung bei Zwangserkrankten durch die Vier-Schritte-Selbsthilfemethode" (Improvement of Self-Management Skills for Patients with Obsessive Compulsive Disorders Using the Four Step Self-Treatment Method). Ms Westkamp and Ms Bark are evaluating the "Four Step Self Treatment Method for Obsessive-Compulsive Behaviour" for German-speaking countries, a method developed by Prof. Dr. Jeffrey M. Schwartz at the School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. Ms Westkamp's focus is on the research of self-regulation and self-control by intervention as components of self-management for obsessive-compulsive patients.

    Bark Diploma thesis at the University of Osnabrück, "The Four Steps: Evaluation of a Self-Treatment-Method for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder" Ms Bark is analysing whether obsessive-compulsive symptoms can be improved by the Four S Self-Treatment Method. This research project is supported and promoted by the Deutsche Gesellschaft Zwangserkrankung e.V. The project was presented during the 2008 annual meeting "Wider das Stigma- ADHS, Tic und Zwang im Spiegel der Gesellschaft und Forschung" at the Hanover School of Medicine (www.tagung-mhh.de).
